Second teaser puts Thor front and centre - with his daughter Love

Twelve days after the first teaser, Marvel dropped a second - and handed it to the God of Thunder. The December 30, 2025 teaser centres on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, and it’s a heavier beat than fans expected: Thor is shown praying over the safety of his adopted daughter, Love (India Rose Hemsworth), before “one more battle.”

It’s a striking tonal choice. Marvel is framing Doom not as a punch-up but as a threat serious enough to make its most powerful Avenger afraid for his child. Thor’s warning - that this enemy scares him “far less” than anything he’s faced - has become the emotional spine of the whole campaign.

That dread is doing deliberate work. When a film opens by having Thor make peace with the possibility of not coming home, you should probably ask who actually does.
