Marvel saved one more surprise for Hall H. At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the studio confirmed that Hayley Atwell is returning as Peggy Carter in Avengers: Doomsday.
It’s a small reveal with big implications. Peggy belongs to the timeline where an older Steve Rogers lived out a quiet life after Endgame - the same “married-life” reality the film is pulling into its multiversal collision. In other words: if Peggy’s here, so is the version of Steve who grew old with her.
