The hard part is done. On September 19, 2025, Avengers: Doomsday officially wrapped principal photography after roughly six months of shooting, largely at Pinewood Studios in the UK.

For a film juggling this many franchises - Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, all colliding across multiple realities - just getting everyone in front of the camera was a logistical feat. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo now hand the film to what will be a long post-production haul: visual effects for a multiverse-ending war don’t come quick.

Filming wasn’t leak-proof, either. Set photos trickled out through the shoot - returning heroes, new costumes, and enough glimpses to keep the rumour mill spinning. We sort the confirmed from the wishful in the spoilers hub.

With cameras down, attention now turns to the marketing campaign - and the long, teasing road to that December 2026 release.
